Our Mission

Who is Healthy Plants Foundation?

We are a coalition of mission-driven organizations, industry leaders, and individuals united by a shared commitment to advancing plant health education, funding school garden programs, and connecting the next generation of agricultural leaders to the resources they need to thrive — with a deep focus on reaching underserved schools and communities across the Southwest. From the excitement of children working in a school garden from which they will harvest their first vegetables, to the dinner table where a university student discovers their career in plant science, Healthy Plants Foundation is cultivating the leaders, learners, and communities that will carry the future of healthy plants and healthy people forward.

Our Impact

Healthy Plants Foundation has invested over $600,000 in school garden grants, university student dinners, and agricultural education programs, reaching 500+ schools and countless students across the Southwest. Our goal is to place a thriving garden in every school in California — connecting children to the soil, empowering educators, and cultivating the next generation of plant health leaders.
