IMPORTANT NOTICE: Teacher Applicant Requirement
This application must be submitted directly by the teacher who is responsible for maintaining the school garden. By completing and submitting this application, the teacher confirms that:
- They are the primary teacher of record responsible for the day-to-day oversight, instruction, and upkeep of the school garden.
- They have the knowledge and authority to accurately represent the school’s garden program in all sections of this application.
- Upon award notification, the grant check will be issued directly to the applicant teacher on behalf of the school’s garden program.
- Teachers are welcome to collaborate with third-party members — including parents, volunteers, administrators, or outside organizations — when gathering information or preparing their application. However, the application must be completed and submitted by the teacher directly. Applications submitted by a third party on behalf of a teacher will not be accepted and will be disqualified without review.
